Since my favorite musical is ‘Blood Brothers’ and my favorite book is ‘The Wrong Boy’, both written by Willy Russell, I was quite happy to stumble upon this rare recent filmed interview by The Liverpool Echo, in which Russell discusses his life, career, and falling in love with stories as a boy:

Blood Brothers Musical – 5th Time

I just watched Blood Brothers for the 5th time, a local Hebrew production by the Beit Zvi Academy of Performing Arts and the Library Theatre, performing at the Tel-Aviv’s Beit-Hachayal Theatre.

The actors were recent graduates of the academy and the performance was superb.
High point: Hila Maaravi as the mother
Low point: Ido Rosenberg’s over the top choreography, Michal Muchtar’s childish voice
